What is Green Hydrogen?

- It is Versatile- You can transform Green Hydrogen into synthetic gas or electricity and use it for different purposes such as for mobility, industrial, domestic, or commercial purposes.
- Easy to Transport- By combining it with the natural gas at the proper ratio, it would be able to move through pipes and to the infrastructure.
Nonetheless, it also comes with some disadvantages. For instance, we’ve already mentioned the high cost that comes with the production process. Also, the energy consumption required in production is higher.
Some safety issues should be raised such as the volatility and flammability of the hydrogen element. Richard Bishara reiterates that the company needs to lay down a comprehensive safety measure to prevent explosions and leakage.
Green Hydrogen is now being used as an energy source in different countries such as France, Russia, and the US. Japan is moving further ahead by building an economy that relies on hydrogen. As we find more accessible and cleaner sources of energy, we will be able to enjoy a better quality of life without harming our environment.
