MIDDLE OCOEE RAFTING TRIPS – GENERAL INFORMATION
The Middle Ocoee River Trip is an excellent day outing. Bring your family and friends, or plan a corporate trip or an exciting adventure with youth. Many churches, schools, scouts and clubs enjoy an Ocoee River whitewater rafting adventure. It’s excellent for team building and brings a sense of accomplishment all in a natural outdoor setting. FULL DAY OCOEE RIVER WHITEWATER RAFTING TRIP
THE OLYMPIC EXPERIENCE
A full day of Ocoee whitewater rafting is one for the whitewater enthusiasts. Longer rapids, big water and drops make for a more challenging trip. Our Full Day Trip is a southeast favorite that includes both the upper and middle sections of the Ocoee River. It’s 10 miles of legendary whitewater rafting with lots of thrills and excitement at each rapid!
As the river narrows, you’re bound for the bigger rapids of the Olympic Course. There is nothing else like this section of whitewater in the United States. The first part of the course is going to prepare you for the beast of the rapids, known as Humongous! This is the most challenging rapid on the river where you’ll experience big waves squeezed between large boulders followed by a huge hole.
However, paddling isn’t the only thing you’ll be doing on this trip. You’ll get to revel in the breathtaking views of this beautiful gorge in the National Forest. Plus, the fun continues with a delicious riverside lunch. Make your own sandwich with a smorgasbord of meats, cheeses, breads and all the trimmings. You’ll also find peel-n-eat shrimp, fruit, chips, cookies and drinks.
After lunch, we’ll take on the Middle section of the Ocoee, providing continuous rapids on the nation’s most popular five mile stretch of whitewater. Before this trip ends, we’ll slow down to take a swim in the river!

This Full Day Trip is an excellent choice for those looking for a whole day of Ocoee River white water rafting. This trip is only available on Saturdays and Sundays mid May through mid September. Due to the limited availability, this Ocoee rafting trip fills fast, so you should start planning your Olympic sized adventure today. Please allow 7 hours with us for this rafting trip. UPPER ONLY OCOEE RIVER RAFTING TRIPS
Our Upper Only Ocoee River Trip offers 5 miles class III and IV whitewater, including a run through the 1996 Olympic Whitewater Course. You can expect classic drops and big water rapids. Culminating with a run through the Upper section’s most famous rapid, Humongous. This is an excellent opportunity to experience the Olympic section on a half day trip.
